This picture is of Linyphia hortensis captured in the Sheffield area of South Yorkshire UK
This ID was made by a process of elimination, it is the only british species I can find with a dark forebody, dark abdomen with pale patches, ligs with extra bristles and almost spherical palp apex. The outside of the chelicera appears to be covered with small denticles which I can't find illustrated so I am still doubtfull.
